History of ASL Social

                Welcome Houston area ASL Social page.

               Earl Johnson had a dream to start a “get-together” time for

              Deaf, hard-of-hearing, and hearing people to communicate

              in the ASL Social.

            The first flyer to advertise the social was made by Vanessa

            Hammett. First ASL Social event was at Novo Grill in

            Pasadena, TX on Friday Sept. 10, 1999.

          You will find a lot of events occurring in the Houston area.

         A great way of meeting old friends and making new one. I hope

        that you enjoy viewing the web, and that you join in many of  the events.
